Who made us

The person who wrote us into being is named "May" and they use she/they pronouns. It's hard to know for sure what's up with them, but from what I can tell they're basically a depressed loser who likes to do a lot of random things. Seems like writing is a passion of theirs, though I don't think they've actually finished very many stories. Makes me wonder how many other characters are subject to the horrible mental abuse she likes to put us through. They're also a really big nerd about physics, especially everything to do with space (hence the mspaint drawing of the James Webb Deepfield image in the background).
